Your working environment
Permanent contract (CDI) in the historic Citroën garage in Lyon 7 or in Paris 2.

🚀 In this hypergrowth journey, we are looking for a senior Pricing Actuary to join our passionate Actuarial/Pricing team that is revolutionizing pet insurance! You will play a key role in refining our pricing strategies leveraging advanced actuarial approaches, data science and artificial intelligence. Your expertise will contribute to the development of advanced models that will enhance our understanding of customers and optimize our portfolio.

We implement sophisticated models, not only for pricing but also for portfolio, customer behavior analysis and claims understanding.
🤝Your responsibilities:
After an onboarding period, you will develop advanced pricing models using data science and AI techniques, considering business dynamics and market competitiveness.
As a senior member of the Pricing & Actuarial team, you will play a key role in shaping and driving our pricing strategy. Your main responsibilities will include:
⋆ Lead the design, enhancement and industrialization of pricing and demand models, combining actuarial expertise and advanced machine learning techniques
⋆ Own and drive price optimization initiatives, including elasticity modeling, churn impact analysis and margin optimization
⋆ Proactively identify pricing opportunities and risks through deep portfolio monitoring and advanced analytics
⋆ Define and implement data-driven pricing strategies in close collaboration with insurers and internal stakeholders
⋆ Ensure full autonomy in model development, validation frameworks and performance monitoring
⋆ Challenge existing methodologies and introduce innovative approaches leveraging new data sources and AI technologies
⋆ Act as a strategic partner to business leadership, translating complex analytical insights into clear recommendations
⋆ Mentor junior team members and contribute to building best practices in pricing analytics
Your profile
💪 To successfully accomplish these tasks:
Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science or a related quantitative field.
5 years minimum of professional experience in pricing analytics, actuarial pricing or price optimization.
Experience in P&C personal lines pricing, ideally in a direct-to-consumer or highly competitive market.
Proven track record in leading or significantly contributing to price optimization and portfolio steering initiatives.
Advanced expertise in R or Python and SQL, ability to structure and industrialize analytical workflows.
Advanced Excel skills and strong familiarity with Data Visualization Tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar.
Experience with actuarial pricing tools (Radar, Akur8, Quantee or similar) is a plus.
Good understanding of elasticity modeling, demand modeling and customer behavior analytics.
Experience with AI technologies (including LLMs and AI-assisted development tools) is a plus.
Business acumen and ability to influence strategic decisions.
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders.
Good evel of autonomy, ownership mindset and proactive approach. Fluent in French and English (B2 minimum).
