Job Description

🚀 In this hypergrowth adventure, we are looking for

🤝 Your responsibilities will include :

• Manage, lead, and develop the claims team, including workload allocation, coaching, performance reviews, and training

• Oversee the end-to-end claims process, ensuring client reimbursement requests are reviewed, assessed, and processed accurately and on time.

• Professional (veterinary) assessment of invoices and (veterinary) reports during claim treatment

• Ensure claims handling complies with policy terms, internal procedures, and applicable regulations

• Act as an escalation point for complex or high-value claims and client inquiries

• Collaborate with internal teams (underwriting, finance, customer service, compliance) to resolve issues and improve client outcomes

• Prepare and present claims reports, KPIs, and management updates

• Support audits and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping
  

Profile required

💪 To successfully accomplish these tasks :

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine and valid license to practice

• Minimum 5 years of clinical veterinary experience, ideally in small animal practice (cats and dogs)

• Strong understanding of veterinary diagnostics, treatments, and clinical decision-making

• Prior experience in insurance, claims, or medical review is an advantage but not mandatory
